The attendance at this event should be limited to those who are currently students, post-docs, or researchers within 3 years of their terminal degree.

The participants will find a variety of food stalls and thematic activities usually take place in the evening. Participants are free to purchase food and beverages at the market at their own expense.

Companhia das Lezírias is the largest agriculture, cattle and forest, farmstead in Portugal, covering the marshlands of Vila Franca de Xira, Charneca do Infantado and Pauis (Belmonte, Lavouras and Magos), totaling about 18,000 hectares of cork oak forest, extensive rice fields, pine forests, olive groves and vineyards. Companhia das Lezírias has one of the largest cork oak plantations in one single location, with over 6,000 hectares of this specie. As the word indicates Lezírias derives from the Arabic al-Jazeera - "the island", the truth is that it still includes an island, surrounded by the rivers Tejo and Sorraia, and a set of wetlands rich in biodiversity. This area combines an excellent space and a rich biodiversity in multiple agricultural and rural activities, meeting all the conditions for recreational activities, educational, workshops or mere meetings. Here visitors can discover the environmental delights of an unusual number of different paths, which is only possible by the scale of the territory in question. Those who visit Companhia das Lezirias enjoy of an extreme natural beauty that is included in a Classified Area due to its precious biodiversity of migratory birds and landscape.
